Never lose your sense of wonder…

No matter how many countries I have checked off my list, traveling never ceases to make me feel like a kid again.  I am giddy over seeing a leopard on safari, I am intrigued by the tobacco farmer in Cuba, and mesmerized by the infinite landscapes of the Atacama Desert.  Every trip should be filled with little “wow” moments.

What is the one place you could go back to a hundred times?

Madrid. Living and studying here made Madrid my European “home away from home” and I can never get enough of the Spanish lifestyle.

Best purchase while travelling?

Does it have to be non-perishable? I always have to try the local food, and I keep a list of “best bites” during each trip.

For the Record…

I visited the two most southerly points outside Antarctica within 3 months…Ushuaia, Argentina and Cape Point, South Africa.

About Me:
My passion for travel was fostered at a young age, discovering new places with my family, using travel as an extended classroom. As a young adult, I fell in love with seeing the world, living and studying in Spain and travelling Europe with friends. My most recent trips have taken me to Mexico, Central and South America, allowing me to apply my education in international development and Latin American studies with my passion for travel.

Whether it’s a few hours’ drive or a trip halfway across the globe, traveling is about learning your destination’s culture, history, cuisine and its people. Through travel you learn about yourself as well as about destinations in our ever-smaller world. I can’t imagine a more enriching experience!
