The crisp Spring air, Cherry Blossoms in bloom and a luxury yacht charter touring the Potomac River was a blissful way to celebrate a night of partnership and 30 years strong in the luxury travel industry! We decided to celebrate our 30th Anniversary by inviting our valued Virtuoso partners and our team together for a weekend of “momentum” with celebrations, 1:1 conversation and training. Our incredible Virtuoso partners, colleagues and special guests all gathered to help make this a memorable event.

We at McCabe World Travel pride ourselves in partnerships that we have built throughout our 30 years in business. Having the ability gather all of these special people into one room for a 2-day celebration was truly a treat and a humbling experience. Before the evening began, we welcomed our out of town guests and partners for a short bus ride to our destination for the evening. Laughter filled the air as stories were told and hugs were happily exchanged between colleagues and partners. We hopped on board the Capital Elite Yacht and off we went! Cocktails were poured and hors d’oeuvres were served as we cruised the Potomac River. As the sun set, we were able to see the Washington Monument, United States Capitol building and how could we forget the beautiful Cherry Blossoms still in bloom!
As the evening progressed, dear friends and colleagues shared kind words about CEO Damian McCabe, President Anne Scully and our agency as a whole. It was truly special to have our partners share their gratitude and to also congratulate our fearless leaders for so many successful years. We were delighted to have Joelle Goldman; Director of Global Member Partnerships in the USA & Canada join us for the evening where she presented Damian with an award congratulating McCabe World Travel for being named a Virtuoso National Account! National Account status with Virtuoso allows for incredible benefits to our clients, Advisors and our agency. Not to mention there are only a handful of Virtuoso National Accounts! It was an exciting and humbling moment for Damian and McCabe World Travel.

Friday, we welcomed our partners again for an exclusive training with our team. Our Advisors benefit tremendously from these tailored 1:1 sessions with our partners, each geared to what more we can offer our valued clients. Fueled by caffeine and breakfast sandwiches we began our day full of training, networking and business development. Short, yet educational sessions allowed our Advisors to not only get the “inside scoop” but also allowed for detailed questions about our development as an agency, specific questions about Virtuoso partner products and share valued feedback received from clients. After our networking lunch, our afternoon was busy with an informative training about Marketing, a guest Keynote speaker, and a wise word from our very own Wayne Muhlstein!
We concluded our celebration and training with freshly made margaritas, guacamole and chips (because who doesn’t love those?) and buzzing conversation among our team celebrating a great event!
We rounded out our weekend with a philanthropy event at the office on Saturday morning. A delicious omelet station with private chef and freshly brewed coffee were served as we introduced the Community Crane Project. Our goal was to make as many origami cranes in honor of the 150,000 men and women in the United States living with stage IV Breast Cancer. This project was meant to bring awareness to the Breast Cancer community and the lack of research funding for stage IV Breast Cancer specifically. With a lot of assistance from how-to videos, patience and laughter, we successfully folded over 150 cranes!
Overall, our very first “Momentum with McCabe World Travel” was a clear success! This event would not have been possible without the support of our partners, colleagues and team. Being able to share our success as an agency with our Advisors & Virtuoso partners is extremely important and the information retained from our training will be a valuable resource for the year to come.
